Plant Adventure

The workshop will introduce children to the wonderful world of plants, their role in nature, and biological composition, as they will also observe plants under a microscope. They will then record or draw their observations using plant pigments on paper.

First, we will learn about the function and composition of plants: roots, stems, leaves, flowers, and fruits. Then, we will prepare samples of individual parts for microscopy, and we will sow seeds in paper pots made from egg cartons. Next, we will draw and paint plants on paper using plant pigments in the form of markers and crayons.

The workshop is intended for children aged 8 to 12 years. It will be led by independent creator Rok Oblak, who specializes in innovating products made from natural materials and biocomposites.

Participants are to gather 5 minutes before the agreed-upon time in the entrance hall of the Center Rog. Children participate in the workshop without parental supervision.

The workshop will be conducted with a minimum of 6 registrations. In case of cancellation, you will be notified no later than two days before the start of the program.

Registration fees are non-refundable. However, participation can be transferred to another person; please inform us at least 24 hours before the start via email at zeleni@center-rog.si.
