Guest Exhibition: Catalog of Slovenian Clays

On Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at 6 p.m., we invite you to the opening of the guest exhibition Catalog of Slovenian Clays by potter and industrial designer Urban Magušar.

The Catalog of Slovenian Clays project showcases the diversity of clay and the abundance of local deposits throughout Slovenia, its uses, and its significance for Slovenian pottery tradition. More than 100 clay samples were contributed by over 35 potters, ceramic designers, and other individuals from all over Slovenia. The samples were tested and their basic properties such as shrinkage, porosity, granulation, and color were determined at Magušar's house. The results of the tests are displayed at the exhibition.

The exhibition will be held in the large exhibition hall of the Center Rog (1st floor) until April 6, 2024.
