Ingrid Montier
Ingrid Montier is a French ceramic artist. She lives and works between Paris and Limoges, developing a thoughtful and sensitive ceramic practice that bridges traditional craftsmanship and contemporary artistic exploration. She began her training with a vocational diploma in pottery throwing (CAP Tourneur Potier) in Paris, before studying applied arts at the École Duperré. She then took part in an international exchange at the School of Ceramics in Manises, Valencia (Spain), and later earned a Master’s degree in Fine Arts (DNSEP), with a specialization in ceramics, from ENSA Limoges. She is currently pursuing a practice-based PhD in ceramics, continuing a creative approach that combines technical skill, material experimentation, and conceptual inquiry into gesture, memory, and the transformation of clay. The residency is organized in collaboration between Center Rog and CRAFT LImoges. The project was made possible with the financial support of the French Cultural Institute in Slovenia.
