Trinity Ring (in Slovenian)

You are invited to an intensive two-day workshop where we will create a unique ring made from three different metals – silver, brass, and copper. We will explore the contrasts of colors, textures, and materials, which will come together in the final piece as a harmonious yet expressive whole.

During the workshop, we will dive into key jewelry-making and metalworking techniques. You will practice soldering, experiment with different methods of texturing metal, and learn precise polishing and finishing techniques. The final result will be a multi-part ring with clearly defined textured and polished surfaces, ready to wear.

At the first session, we will focus on the fundamentals. We will accurately measure the ring size, prepare the materials, and shape the individual bands. We will learn how to create a semi-round profile and texture the wire and metal surfaces. Gradually, we will begin soldering the individual parts and take time to understand the process and practice precision.

At the second session, we will continue the work and complete the ring. We will refine the soldering, assemble the individual elements into a cohesive piece, and focus on polishing and the final finish, which will give the ring shine and highlight the contrast between the materials.

The workshop is an ideal opportunity for anyone who wants to deepen practical metalworking skills, develop an eye for detail, and create a wearable piece of jewelry with strong visual impact. Participants will leave with their own multi-metal ring and new confidence in working with tools, fire, and metal.

About the instructors

The workshop will be conducted by the mentors of the Jewelry Lab.

Payment in two installments

Workshops costing more than €100 can be paid in two installments. Payment is possible at the Made in Rog shop or by bank transfer upon invoice if you write to tajnistvo@center-rog.si

Participants should gather 15 minutes before the start of the program in the entrance hall of the Center Rog. Please store your personal belongings in the lockers shown by the mentor. Do not be late, as this disrupts the work process. In case of delay, entry to the lab cannot be guaranteed.

The program is conducted in Slovenian, unless stated otherwise.

The program is intended for participants aged 14 and older, unless stated otherwise.

In case of cancellation, we will inform you two days before the scheduled start.

If you cannot attend the program, the fee is non-refundable and the date cannot be changed. Participation can be transferred to another person, provided you notify us at least 24 hours before the start at nakit@center-rog.si
