Training: Sewing Station Usage [13.2.]

TRAINING FOR SEWING STATION:

Our textile lab is equipped with modern sewing machines suitable for sewing all types of textiles, leather, and synthetic materials. During the training for the sewing station, you will familiarize yourself and acquire skills in using:

• a regular single-needle industrial sewing machine,
• a single-needle sewing machine with walking foot (for heavier materials and leather),
• a 3-thread double-needle overlock machine,
• a 4-thread double-needle overlock machine,
• a 3-needle 5-thread coverstitch machine.

You will learn how to safely change needles, presser feet, adjust sewing speeds, stitch length, and more. To ensure the training is not purely theoretical, each participant will create a stitch sampler, experimenting with all the sewing machines.

If you want to become more independent in using a sewing machine, this is the opportunity for you! Join us for the Tuesday training and embark on the journey of creating your own textile creations.

The participants of the training should arrive 5 minutes before the agreed-upon time in the entrance hall of the Rog Center.

Training fees are non-refundable, and rescheduling is not possible. You can transfer your participation to another person; please notify us at least 24 hours before the start via email at info@center-rog.si.
