TIG welding workshop

Come to a practical TIG welding workshop, which also counts as a training course. After the workshop, you will be able to use the TIG welding workstation independently.

TIG welding is one of the most precise and versatile welding methods. This workshop is for anyone who wants to learn the basics or upgrade their knowledge of TIG welding, which is widely used in industry, crafts and the manufacture of high-quality structures.

You will learn the basics of TIG welding: equipment operation, welding machine set-up and safety at work, practical skills in welding structural steel and stainless steel, techniques for welding different joints, correct setting of welding parameters, and how to identify and correct common welding mistakes. During the workshop, we will make a 50 x 50 x 50 mm steel sheet cube on which we will practise welding techniques with the addition of material and welding without the addition of material.

The workshop is suitable for beginners as well as for those with basic experience who want to improve their skills. Participants will have the opportunity to work with modern equipment under the guidance of experienced instructor Urban Muck, a mentor in the metal lab.

Participants should gather 15 minutes before the scheduled start time in the entrance hall of Center Rog. Please store your personal belongings in the lockers, which the mentor will show you. Please be on time, as late arrivals disrupt the workflow. In the case of a delay, entry to the lab cannot be guaranteed.

The program will be conducted in Slovenian unless otherwise stated.

In case of cancellation, you will be notified two days before the scheduled start.

If you are unable to attend the program, the registration fee is non-refundable, and it is not possible to change the date. You can transfer your participation to another person, but please notify us at least 24 hours before the program begins at the email address: kovina@center-rog.si
