We are looking for an Interdisciplinary Programmes Lead
How will we design and make things five or ten years from now? What knowledge and skills will creative practitioners need amid rapid technological, environmental and social change?
Center Rog is looking for someone with a background in product or industrial design, architecture or a related creative field to connect our nine production labs and develop new programmes, knowledge, products, and collaborations at their intersections.
The role will include developing interdisciplinary and educational programmes, curating masterclasses and experimental workshops, connecting digital and analogue making processes, and establishing collaborations with creative practitioners, research institutions, universities, companies, and production centers in Slovenia and abroad.
The new lead will be based in the FabLab, where they will also oversee its programme and organisational operations, coordinate its educational programme and lead a team of mentors.
We are looking for someone who understands design and making processes, contemporary technologies and materials, can connect different areas of knowledge and bring people together, and knows how to turn ideas into viable projects.
The project-based position is for 30 hours per week.
