Exercise equipment

The course is intended for everyone interested in more advanced welding projects and the creation of metal structures for everyday use. Under the mentorship of Tajda Novšak, participants will create their own piece of exercise equipment from round steel tubes – a device for performing strength and endurance exercises using one's own bodyweight.

The program combines knowledge from two existing trainings (the MIG/MAG station and the multifunctional station) and upgrades it with advanced procedures for preparing and cutting steel, bending, pressing, drilling, safe operation of an angle grinder, and final finishing.

In addition to technical skills, it also promotes the ability to plan the production process, understand materials, and support healthy movement – as participants create a practical tool for their own physical training.

14, 15, 21, 22, 28 and 29 January 2026, from 17:00 to 20:00.

Prerequisites

YES, basic experience with hand tools is required.

Does the course count as training?

YES, after completing the course you will receive certification for using the MIG/MAG welding station and the multifunctional station.

About the mentor

Tajda Novšak is a sculptor and mentor in the metal lab at Center Rog, specializing in welding, metal processing, and user guidance. She has extensive experience leading hands-on courses, combining technical precision with a creative approach.

Payment in two installments

For courses costing more than €100, payment can be split into two installments. You can pay in the Made in Rog shop or by bank transfer based on a pro forma invoice if you write to us at tajnistvo@center-rog.si.

Participants should gather 15 minutes before the scheduled start time in the entrance hall of Center Rog. Please store your personal belongings in the lockers, which the mentor will show you. Please be on time, as late arrivals disrupt the workflow. In the case of a delay, entry to the lab cannot be guaranteed.

The program will be conducted in Slovenian unless stated otherwise.

The program is intended for participants older than 14 years, except where noted otherwise.

In case of cancellation, you will be notified two days before the scheduled start.

If you are unable to attend the program, the registration fee is non-refundable, and it is not possible to change the date. You can transfer your participation to another person, but please notify us at least 24 hours before the program begins at the email address: kovina@center-rog.si
