Rog Forum - (lunch included)

Rog Forum is an international conference bringing together designers, researchers, makers and experts from different fields. On 26 and 27 November 2026, under the title More Than Us, we will explore how we can design a world in which humans are not the only measure.

Guests from Slovenian and international organisations will approach the future of design from different perspectives – from positive utopias, living systems and multispecies cohabitation to ecofeminism and cruelty-free design.

Over two days, the programme features five panel discussions:

From Speculative Design to Positive Utopias
On the role of design in imagining and creating better futures.

Designing with Nature
On biomaterials, living systems, and regenerative and locally rooted ways of making.

Designing for Multispecies Cohabitation
On spaces, technologies and practices that consider the needs of humans and other living beings.

Ecofeminism: Rethinking Power, Gender and Nature
On the connections between environmental crises, social inequalities, care and power.

Cruelty-Free Design
On materials and practices that seek alternatives to the exploitation of animals and the environment.

The programme also includes hands-on workshops and working groups.

The working language of the conference is English.
