Cars for Nerdy Derby Race [2nd Meeting]

Join us for a Neighbour's Day preparatory meeting where we will make wooden cars for the Nerdy Derby.

Last year's Neighbour's Day was the biggest hit with the wooden car race. We have the track, but this year we will be making wooden cars at the preparatory meetings. How big does it have to be? How heavy? Come and make your winning little car to compete in the Nerdy Derby on 7 June.

Meeting dates (you are welcome to join us for more than one preparatory meeting):

- Monday, 28 April, from 17:00 to 19:00

- Monday, 12 May, from 17:00 to 19:00

- Monday, 26 May, from 17.00 to 19.00

On Saturday 7 June, the Neighbour Day will take place all day in the Park of the Deleted. It is an event that brings together residents of the neighbourhood, as well as organisations, associations, institutions and institutions working in the neighbourhood, and all those who are not immediate neighbours but feel like neighbours. It is intended for relaxed socialising, getting to know each other and enjoying the various activities that we will organise together. On this day, the Rog Centre will open its doors wide and offer a number of free workshops, guided tours of the house and the Labs, sports activities, a community picnic, a swap meet and more, which will run until the evening.
