How can creativity support the social inclusion and integration of young refugees and migrants?

In the international project, we, in collaboration with the Center Rog, the Association Odnos, and the APIS Institute in Slovenia, engaged over 60 young people from vulnerable groups through dance, photography, clay work, handicrafts, and other creative approaches. The project successfully involved refugees, asylum seekers, migrants, unaccompanied minors, repatriates, and others.

As the project comes to a close, we invite you to join us at the event on Friday, January 26th, at 7 p.m. in the conference hall of the Center Rog at Trubarjeva 72 in Ljubljana.

Before the event, there will be a guided tour of the Center Rog at 6 p.m., for which you can sign up HERE.

Attendance at the event and the guided tour is free of charge.

Youth workers residing in Slovenia from Afghanistan, Chile, Kazakhstan, Palestine, Poland, Morocco, Ukraine, and Slovenia will present the activities they conducted with young asylum seekers, unaccompanied minors, migrants, and other young people.

They will showcase movement dance activities, photography workshops, clay workshops, handicraft activities, macramé, and other activities.

Additionally, music and dance performances will be presented by:

Ahmed Kullab (Palestine, Slovenia)

Guillermo Escalante (Argentina, Slovenia)

Ali R. Taha (Syria, Slovenia)

Antoine Nshimimana (Burundi, Slovenia)
