Plečnik Day at Rog Center
Rog Center will also join Plečnik Day, a free family festival that will connect institutions and buildings where architect Jože Plečnik left his mark.
On Saturday, May 25, 2024, from 14:00 to 18:00, Rog Center will also be bustling as part of Plečnik Day.
Join us in the food lab for a workshop on making gingerbread cookies, or simply stop by to pick up your own gingerbread cookie of a special shape. Plečnik designed and installed a beehive in his garden, and soon bee families will also inhabit the roof of Rog Center!
In the jewelry lab and glass lab, you can watch demonstrations of glass processing and jewelry design techniques.
Families, toddlers, youth, and curious seniors are all invited to join us on Plečnik Day for a variety of activities along Plečnik's water path, which runs from Plečnik's house to Plečnik's locks and Fabiani Bridge, with stops at Trnovo Quay, the DobraVaga Gallery at the Market, Ambrož Square, and of course, at Petkovškovo nabrežje in front of Rog Center.
