Design at the Centre: Wood in Three Worlds
This time, we’ll be talking about wood – and how it is understood by those who work with it. Architecture, interior design, product design – one material, three perspectives, and three ways of working. See you on April 23 at 8 PM at Kavarna Specialka.
We’ll be exploring where these worlds intersect. Where are the boundaries of designing with wood? What does it mean to work with wood today? How does the material respond to different purposes, and how does a designer balance their vision with its properties?
Together, we’ll discover how wood becomes a conversation partner in the design process – not just as raw material, but as a substance with memory, character, and quiet strength that leaves a mark on the space and the people within it.
The guests of this edition of the talk, moderated by Katjuša Kranjc, will be:
- Meta Kamšek and Andrej Palman (Konstrukta)
- Peter Ličen (Lushna)
- Klara Zalokar and Klemen Zupančič (Studio Moste)
