LUDUS ARTISANAL

Ludus Artisanal marks a new chapter in the brand’s evolution, focusing on the recontextualization of ancient pre-industrial textile crafts from the Balkan and Mediterranean regions to create contemporary designer products. Making use of nearly all labs at Center Rog, the project aims to develop unique woven fabrics, accessories, and repro materials for the collections, through forming working groups that offer hands-on experience and opportunities for socialization— demonstrating the enduring power of craft to foster strong communities. Founded in 2010 by designer Dragan Hristov, Ludus is a Macedonian sustainable fashion brand rooted in ecological and ethical practices. The label works with natural monofibers, plant-based natural dyeing, zero-waste pattern cutting, weaving, and other artisanal textile techniques to create timeless, genderless garments.
