Lan Krebs

Lan Krebs, a Master’s graduate of The Swedish School of Textiles, explores the creative potential of single jersey knitwear through an innovative experimental approach. Traditionally perceived as a simple and unremarkable material, single jersey becomes, in his work, a dynamic and expressive textile surface, redefining its role in contemporary fashion design. By experimentally combining knitting with pleating, space dyeing, and devoré techniques, Lan pushes the boundaries of conventional textile processes. His work explores the interactions between different types of yarn, surface textures, and construction methods, transforming single jersey from a basic supporting material into a central design element. At Center Rog, he will develop a fashion collection that translates his experimental approaches into wearable forms.
