You and Me - Workshop for Two

Would you like to have memories captured on unique plates? At the "You and Me" workshop, you will get acquainted with ceramic painting, as you will draw your illustrations on plates. You will explore the technique of underglaze painting and use pigments, underglaze pencils, and crayons to create unique patterns and motifs on the plates, which will be prepared in advance by the mentors. Each pair will select two plates and paint them together.

After the workshop, the Center Rog team will place the plates in a ceramic kiln and fire them appropriately. Participants will be able to pick them up at the Center Rog shop and take them home.

The workshop is intended for anyone who wants to learn about underglaze colors and paint their unique plate. Couples or parents with children are welcome. The workshop is suitable for children from 6 years old and is aimed at intergenerational bonding. No prior knowledge is required. Registration in pairs.

About the mentors:

The workshop will be led by Brigita Gantar, the head of the glass and ceramics lab. She is a designer of unique items by profession. She is primarily involved in hand shaping ceramics but also explores mold casting and wheel throwing. In glass design, she specializes in lost wax casting and cold glass processing.

The assembly of participants for the program is 15 minutes before the agreed-upon time in the entrance hall of Center Rog. Please store personal belongings in the cloakroom before the program starts. Do not be late for the program. In case of delay, entry is not guaranteed - joining the creative process after it has started is no longer possible!

The workshop will be conducted with a minimum of 6 registrations (3 pairs). In case of non-execution, you will be informed at least two days before the program starts. Participation fees are non-refundable, and it is not possible to change the date.
