Year-Round Model Making School 2026/2027

Model making is popular among children and young people, as it enables them to create and reconstruct complex structures and objects, while developing precision, patience, manual skills and creativity.

In the 2026/2027 school year, Center Rog is organising a year-round model making school in collaboration with the Ljubljana Association of Societies for Technical Culture. The programme is intended for children and young people aged 10 to 18 who would like to try aircraft and boat model making.

We will explore the natural principles of aerodynamics, aerostatics and hydromechanics, and learn about different materials, their properties and methods of processing. Together, we will solve construction challenges, develop technical thinking, aesthetic sense, manual skills and communication. The models we make will also be tested in practice.

The new season will begin on Tuesday, 22 September 2026 at 17:00, with an introductory meeting. Parents will also be able to enrol their children in the programme at the meeting.

The model making school will run from 22 September 2026 to 15 June 2027, on Tuesdays in two time slots:

• 1st time slot: 17:00
• 2nd time slot: 19:00

There are 12 places available in each time slot.

The price of the year-round model making school is EUR 400, payable in three instalments directly to the organiser: EUR 200 upon enrolment, followed by EUR 100 in January 2027 and EUR 100 in April 2027.
