Training: Combination Machine / Part 2 – Planer, Table Router, Horizontal Drill
18. 3. 2025

A universal combination woodworking machine, or simply "kombinirka", integrates five woodworking operations. It allows for the processing of solid wood and sheet materials, preparing them for the final product.
In the second part of the combination machine training, we will learn four of the five woodworking operations that can be carried out on a combiner: the combination straightening and thickness planer, the table router and the horizontal drill. The combination planer is used to straighten and plane solid wood to the desired thickness. The table router can be used to shape different profiles and grooves or to cut along a template, while the horizontal drill is used to countersink grooves for timber ties. You will learn why and how each part of the machine is used, as well as basic woodworking techniques and safety at work.
During the training, you will also try out the machine on test workpieces to see what the Universal Combination Machine can do for you.
Suitable for beginners, you will learn why and how the different parts of the machine are used, as well as basic woodworking techniques and safety at work. For more advanced users who already have experience, you will learn about specific machines in the woodworking trade that will enable you to tackle more complex projects independently.
Training is suitable for participants aged 14 or older.
