Testing of Casino Materials

In the production workshops of Center Rog, products are made from various materials (wood, textiles, paper, clay...), and the leftover materials often offer opportunities for further use. The mentors in the workshops collect them, and together with the Public Institution Mala ulica, they have designed a materials playroom from various usable pieces, aimed at unstructured play.

In April, we are preparing a trial session for kindergarten groups, and we also want to test the playroom with a group of children aged 2 to 5 years, accompanied by one of their parents or a guardian.

The pedagogical staff from Mala ulica will observe how the children independently develop play, what attracts their attention, and how the play evolves with repeated encounters with the materials.

Before visiting the playroom, we will provide parents or guardians with additional information about the program, and after the last visit, we will send an evaluation questionnaire to help us improve and develop the program. The goal of the project is to collect observations about the development of unstructured play in a professional article, which will be prepared by the pedagogical staff of Mala ulica, and to incorporate the materials playroom into the programs of Center Rog.

The program is in the testing phase, so it is free of charge.
