[LAST CHANCE] Guided tour of the photo exhibition on the creation of Center Rog [8.2.]

In the large hall of Center Rog, the exhibition "Rog" by authors Branko Čeak and Jure Horvat is on display, showcasing the two-and-a-half-year renovation of the Rog factory through their photographic lenses. Spending time from morning to evening in the spaces that disappeared and re-emerged before their eyes, much like the workers involved in the renovation, they experienced the moments even after they had left for a well-deserved rest. In their care not to miss a single important view that would be gone the next morning.

The exhibited photographs represent a poetic connection between the past and present and document the transition of the building, which, from its inception until today, has marked the surroundings in many ways. The photographs not only reveal the transformation of the space but also sensitively portray the people who, through their work and presence, left their energetic imprint in the area during this time. Just like all their predecessors.

The exhibition was curated by Barbara Čeferin. An extensive publication with 100 photographs and accompanying texts by Meta Kres, Renata Zamida, and Meta Štular was released alongside the exhibition, designed by Anja Delbello and Aljaž Vesel from Studio AA.

The exhibition is open for viewing from November 6, 2023, until February 10, 2024, during the working hours of Center Rog: on weekdays from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM and on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
