Painting Tiles for the Community Portrait Wall

As part of the Opening Days of the 6th International Ceramics Triennial UNICUM 2026, Center Rog will host an open creative station for children, families, and visitors of all generations.

Participants will draw their self-portraits on bisque-fired ceramic tiles using special ceramic pencils and underglaze colours. Through drawing, colouring, and mark-making, they will create personal ceramic portraits while exploring ceramics as a medium of expression and collective storytelling.

After the workshop, the tiles will be glazed and fired for the second time before becoming part of a community portrait wall in Park Izbrisanih.

The workshop follows a drop-in format, allowing visitors to join at any time during the programme.

The event is part of the UNICUM 2026 Opening Days Programme.
