Basics of Jewelry Drawing with Studio Oryn

This course is designed for anyone interested in jewelry design and wanting to learn the basics of drawing and illustrating unique pieces. You will learn fundamental drawing techniques such as perspective, shading, composition, and how to work with pencils and colored pencils.

The course is suitable for beginners and jewelry enthusiasts who want to develop their drawing skills, regardless of prior knowledge or experience. Each session includes practical exercises and individual feedback from the mentor, allowing you to progress quickly.

Course goal is that by the end of the program, you will be able to create your first independent jewelry illustrations and understand how to communicate the idea, form, and materiality of jewelry through drawing.

No.

What to bring:
A sketchbook in A4 format and regular pencils.

Mentor:
The course is led by Neja Kaligaro, a jewelry designer who began her career at Zlatarna Celje, where she spent nearly seven years designing jewelry for serial production. Today, she works as head of the jewelry design department at Holzkern, creates custom pieces for individual clients, and conducts creative workshops at Studio Oryn as well as in collaboration with various jewelry schools.

Participants should gather 15 minutes before the scheduled start time in the entrance hall of Center Rog. Please store your personal belongings in the lockers, which the mentor will show you. Please be on time, as late arrivals disrupt the workflow. In the case of a delay, entry to the lab cannot be guaranteed.

The program will be conducted in Slovenian unless stated otherwise.

The program is intended for participants older than 14 years, except where noted otherwise.

In case of cancellation, you will be notified two days before the scheduled start.

If you are unable to attend the program, the registration fee is non-refundable, and it is not possible to change the date. You can transfer your participation to another person, but please notify us at least 24 hours before the program begins at the email address: nakit@center-rog.si
