Modelling is popular among children and adults alike, as it allows the creation and reconstruction of complex structures and objects, while developing precision, patience and creativity.

In the 2025/2026 school year, we are organising a year-round modelling school in two terms (the first at 16.30 and the second at 19.00) at Center Rog in cooperation with the Ljubljana City Association of Technical Culture Societies. Students who would like to try their hand at aircraft and ship modelling are welcome to attend. The course is suitable for ages 10-18.

We will learn about the natural laws of aerodynamics, aero-statics and hydro-mechanics and get familiar with different materials, their properties and processing methods.

Together, we will solve a number of design challenges in imaginative ways. We will develop precision and patience as well as our aesthetic sense, manual dexterity and communication skills. We will also test the models we make in the field.

Join us at the modelling school and discover why modelling is more than just a hobby. It's a passion that can last a lifetime, as there are always new challenges and projects to overcome.

You are invited to the FIRST INTRODUCTION MEETING on Tuesday, 9 September 2025, at 17:00, when the modelling master will answer all your questions and demonstrate the work. If there are still places available, you can also register for the course at this introductory meeting.

Price:

The price of the year-long course is 350 € ( which is 39 € / month). 150 € is payable at the time of enrolment and the balance is payable in two instalments of 100 € each (the first by 5 January 2026, the second by 5 April 2026).

Duration:

The 90-hour modelling course will run from 9 September 2025 to 23 June 2026 on Tuesdays in two terms.

  1. term: at 16.30
  2. term: at 19.00
