Nice handbag

Join us for the spring edition of the embroidery and sewing workshop where you’ll create a unique phone case or a handy everyday bag. During the workshop, participants will make a small bag from synthetic leather and embroider a design of their choice (a fox, tulip, butterfly…). On the pre-cut bag pattern, we will manually embroider the design using the cross-stitch technique. The final product can be used as a phone case, wallet, or any other small accessory.

Children will get to know methods and ideas on how to creatively use smaller textile scraps and turn them into functional and charming products.

The workshop is intended for children aged 8 to 14.

About the mentors:

The workshop will be led by textile lab mentors Karmen Gombač and Vita Ivičić.

Participants are asked to gather 15 minutes before the scheduled start time in the entrance hall of Center Rog. Please store your personal belongings in the lockers, which will be shown to you by the mentor. Please do not be late for the program, as late arrivals disrupt the workflow. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee entry to the lab in case of late arrival.

The program will be conducted in Slovenian, unless otherwise specified.

In case of cancellation, you will be notified two days before the scheduled start.

If you are unable to attend the program, the participation fee is non-refundable, and rescheduling is not possible. You may transfer your participation to another person; please inform us at least 24 hours before the program begins by email: tekstil@center-rog.si
