Creative textile printing techniques

In collaboration with Mirsada Muminović Tešin from the Mumino printing studio at Rog, we are organizing a course on advanced creative textile printing techniques.

For all those who want to take textile printing to the next level and enrich their creations with layered prints and mixed techniques, this is the right course for you.

In this four-session course, we will first explore various printing methods and techniques available in our textile lab, and then design and print a final piece by combining different printing techniques, decorative foil application, quilting, embroidery, etc. The base for the final product will be a digitally printed cotton twill fabric (any chosen design) in the size of 70 cm x 50 cm. During the course, participants will upgrade this piece with multiple layers. The final product from the printed fabric can be a decorative cushion, tote bag, evening clutch… anything that can be cut and sewn.

Duration: 4 sessions, each 3 hours long

• Monday, June 16, from 5 PM to 8 PM
• Monday, June 23, from 5 PM to 8 PM

Prior knowledge:

NO, no prior knowledge is required.

Does the workshop count as training?

YES, by participating in the workshop you will complete the training required to use the textile lab and the darkroom.

You will be able to use this workstation independently afterwards.

About the mentor:

The workshop will be led by Mirsada Muminović Tešin – a master of screen printing and head of the Mumino printing studio.

Courses priced over €100 can be paid in two installments. Payment in two installments is possible in the "Made in Rog" store or by bank transfer upon receiving a proforma invoice if you email us at: tajnistvo@center-rog.si.

Participants are asked to arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled session time at the entrance lobby of Center Rog.
Please store your personal belongings in the lockers shown to you by the mentor. Please be punctual, as late arrivals disrupt the work process. In case of tardiness, access to the lab cannot be guaranteed.

The program is conducted in Slovenian, unless stated otherwise.

If the program is cancelled, we will inform you two days before the planned start date.

If you are unable to attend, the participation fee is non-refundable, and rescheduling is not possible. However, you may transfer your spot to someone else — in this case, please notify us at least 24 hours before the start of the program at: tekstil@center-rog.si
