Metal Snowman

This time, the workshop in the metal lab will have a winter theme. Using nuts, washers, and bolts, we will create a small figurine—a snowman—that will make a lovely decoration for your home during the holiday season.

The workshop is particularly suitable for anyone looking to learn the basics of metalworking, including an introduction to welding, grinding, and sandblasting.

About the Mentors:

workshop will be led by Luka Ložar, a mentor in the metal lab, researcher, artisan, and blacksmith. Luka enjoys exploring the processing and repurposing of various materials, with a particular passion for forging, where extremely hard metal is transformed into entirely new shapes with the help of fire.

Participants should arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled time in the main lobby of Center Rog. Please store your personal belongings in the lockers indicated by the mentor. Late arrivals may disrupt the workflow and access to the lab cannot be guaranteed.

The program is conducted in Slovenian unless otherwise specified.

If the workshop is canceled, you will be notified two days before the scheduled start.

If you cannot attend, fees are non-refundable, and rescheduling is not possible. However, participation can be transferred to another person. Please notify us at least 24 hours before the program starts via email at kovina@center-rog.si.
