Making Mugs for the Get to Know Your Neighbors Game [2nd Meeting]

Neighbor's Day – Create, Collaborate, and Celebrate with Us

Neighbor's Day is a great opportunity to meet your neighbors, start a conversation with the lady you meet every week at the library, or the gentleman you stand next to in the bread line at the local bakery.

Since starting a conversation can be difficult without an icebreaker, for this year’s Neighbor’s Day, we’ve prepared a fun game where participants will search for pairs of words or phrases printed on ceramic mugs.

To ensure we have enough mugs for all players, we invite you to join us at the preparatory meeting in the ceramics lab, where, with the help of our mentors, we will create the mugs.

Do you have any ideas for words or phrases to print on the mugs? Throughout April, we will be collecting word pair suggestions on the board in the Center Rog lobby. Feel free to add your own.

Meeting dates (you are welcome to join more than one preparatory meeting):

On Saturday, June 7, Neighbor's Day will take place in the Park of the Erased, all day long. This event connects the residents of the neighborhood as well as organizations, associations, institutions, and others operating in the area, even those who may not be direct neighbors but feel a sense of community. It’s dedicated to casual socializing, getting to know each other, and various activities we will prepare together. On this day, Center Rog will open its doors wide and offer numerous free workshops, house and lab tours, sports activities, a community picnic, a things exchange, and more, continuing until the evening.
