Neighbor's Day – Create, Collaborate, and Celebrate with Us

Neighbor’s Day is a great opportunity to meet your neighbors, start a conversation with the lady you see every week at the library, or chat with the gentleman standing in line for bread at the local bakery.

Since starting a conversation can sometimes be difficult without an icebreaker, this year we’ve prepared a fun game where participants will match pairs of words or phrases printed on ceramic cups.

To ensure we have enough cups for all players, we invite you to join us at a preparatory session in the ceramics lab, where we will craft them under the guidance of mentors.

Do you have ideas for words or phrases to be printed on the cups? Throughout April, we will be collecting suggestions on a board in the Center Rog lobby—feel free to add your own!

Meeting Dates (you’re welcome to join more than one session):

  • Wednesday, April 23, 5 PM – 7 PM
  • Wednesday, April 30, 5 PM – 7 PM
  • Wednesday, May 7, 5 PM – 7 PM
  • Wednesday, May 28, 5 PM – 7 PM

On Saturday, June 7, Neighbor’s Day will take place all day in Park Izbrisanih. This event brings together local residents, organizations, associations, institutes, and institutions from the area, as well as anyone who, even if not a direct neighbor, feels like part of the community. The event is dedicated to relaxed socializing, meeting new people, and participating in various activities prepared together. On this day, Center Rog will open its doors wide, offering free workshops, guided tours of the building and labs, sports activities, a community picnic, and a swap meet. The festivities will continue into the evening.
