Flamingo - pendant or earrings

Enrich your jewelry collection before summer with a unique flamingo-shaped pendant or earrings.

In this fun workshop, we will guide you through the entire process of making metal jewelry. You will learn the basics of sawing, filing, and polishing metal, leading you to the perfect final product.

You will start with small pieces of sheet metal, onto which you will glue or draw bird motifs and then cut them out according to the mentor's instructions. The cut-out piece will then be filed, sanded, and prepared for mounting on a pendant or earrings.

To make the jewelry even more colorful, you will have the option to color the prepared metal bases with various dry pencils and finish them in the form of dangling earrings or a pendant for a necklace.

The workshop is suitable for teenagers and is an excellent starting point for those who are just learning to make jewelry. No prior knowledge is required.

About the mentors:

The course will be led by mentors from the jewelry lab.

Goldsmith Tina Mežek, with her passion for the art of jewelry, develops a wide range of skills and knowledge. As a mentor at the Goldsmithing School in Tržič and part of the team at the Jewelry Lab in Rog, she shares her knowledge with enthusiastic individuals.

Peter Dragolič trained for the basic goldsmithing profession at Loboda Goldsmiths in Ljubljana. Later, he obtained the title of "master goldsmith." His path then took him to Australia, where he worked in the goldsmithing field for almost five years, specializing in the knowledge and cutting of precious stones. The Center Rog is a unique opportunity for him to pass on his knowledge to others who wish to design and create jewelry.

The assembly of participants is 15 minutes before the agreed-upon time in the entrance hall of the Center Rog. Please store personal items in the cloakroom before the start of the program. Do not be late for the program. In case of delay, we do not guarantee entry - after the start of the creative process, participation is no longer possible!

The workshop will be held with a minimum of 4 registrations. In case of non-execution, you will be notified no later than two days before the start of the program.

In case of non-attendance, the registration fee will not be refunded, and it is also not possible to change the date. Participation can be transferred to another person; please notify us at least 24 hours before the start via email at: nakit@center-rog.si.
