Organic face serum (in Slovenian)

At the workshop, under the guidance of pharmacist Sarah Siri, founder of the brand Siriously Organic, we will formulate and create an organic facial oil serum tailored to the needs of our skin.

The workshop will consist of two parts. In the first part, we will discuss the functions and structure of the skin, different skin types, and how to develop a daily skincare routine. In the second part, we will get acquainted with the basics of formulating and making cosmetics at home. Additionally, we will learn about the characteristics, nourishing properties, and uses of various natural ingredients that can be incorporated into daily skincare. Finally, we will also learn the basic technique of using a gua sha, an ancient massage method originating from traditional Chinese medicine, which is especially useful for serum application and facial massage.

Participants will leave with a wealth of new knowledge, a personalized serum for their skin, and a gua sha. The facial serum we create during the workshop can be used daily for up to three months.

No prior knowledge is required to attend the workshop. It is aimed at anyone interested in natural and organic cosmetics who would like to learn basic techniques for formulating natural cosmetic products at home and create a facial oil serum tailored to their skin type.

About the mentors:

The workshop will be led by Sarah Siri Blejc, Master of Pharmacy, who, after many years of working in the pharmaceutical industry, missed the connection with creativity and nature. During a study trip to Southeast Asia, she got the idea for the “Siriously Organic” project, which reconnected her with her passion for research, nature, and self-discovery.

Her vision is to approach science holistically, meaning addressing symptoms in depth, understanding our needs, and fostering awareness of oneself and nature.

The participants should gather 15 minutes before the start of the program in the entrance hall of Center Rog. Please store your personal belongings in the lockers, which your mentor will show you. Do not be late for the program, as this disrupts the workflow. In case of tardiness, entry into the lab unfortunately cannot be guaranteed.

The program will be conducted in Slovenian, unless otherwise stated.

In case of cancellation, we will notify you two days before the planned start.

If you cannot attend the program, the fee is non-refundable and rescheduling is not possible. You may transfer your participation to another person, provided you notify us at least 24 hours in advance at zeleni@center-rog.si.
