Summer is just around the corner, bringing with it the season of picnics and barbecue delights.

In the workshop Burger from Scratch to Scratch!, we will learn how to prepare all the ingredients for a gourmet burger ourselves – knead and bake perfect buns, mix sauces, and season toppings. We will also cover how to select the right meat, shape it into patties, and season and grill them properly.

Avoid buying pre-made, processed foods with unnecessary additives and learn how to make a gourmet burger from basic ingredients in your own kitchen, on your balcony, or in your garden.

About the Mentors:

The workshop will be led by Marko Butalič, owner of the Meat Business Shop, and a butcher with many years of experience. He frequently organizes butchery and cooking workshops for both culinary and livestock professionals as well as enthusiasts. He regularly organizes his own catering events and participates in many culinary pop-ups (DuBop, Domačija Novak, Prulček, Mala terasa, Dobro vino ...) and festivals (Pivo & Burger Fest, Odprta kuhna ...).
