Bluetooth speaker

For everyone who loves music, electronics, and product design – Center Rog is organizing a mini course on designing and making a Bluetooth speaker!

Join us for a short course, a collaboration between FabLab and the Textile Lab, where we will design a personalized Bluetooth speaker.

We will try out several different techniques: from preparing files and laser cutting, to learning about electronic components, how they work, soldering connections, and experimenting with design to create the final look of the speaker. In the end, we will have a Bluetooth speaker for which we will have wired the electronic components ourselves, designed the housing, cut it from MDF board, and added textile elements for better acoustics and a unique appearance.

After completing the course, you will take home a beautifully crafted Bluetooth speaker and two certifications – from both workstations we will use during the mini course. This is an opportunity not to be missed!

Prior knowledge:

NO, prior knowledge is not required.

Is the workshop considered training?

YES, by participating in the course, you will complete training for the laser cutter and the electronics workstation. Next time, you will be able to use these workstations independently.

About the mentors:

The workshop will be led by Tauan Bernardo, head of FabLab, and Uroš Topić, head of the Textile Lab.

Courses costing more than €100 can be paid in two installments. Payment in two installments is possible at the “Made in Rog” shop or by bank transfer after invoicing if you contact us at tajnistvo@center-rog.si.

Participants are asked to arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time at the main entrance hall of Center Rog. Please store your personal belongings in the lockers shown to you by the mentor. Please do not be late, as this disrupts the workflow. Entry to the lab cannot be guaranteed in case of lateness.

The program is conducted in Slovenian unless otherwise stated.

In case of cancellation, you will be notified two days before the scheduled start.

If you are unable to attend, fees are non-refundable and rescheduling is not possible. You may transfer your participation to another person; please notify us at least 24 hours before the program starts via email: fablab@center-rog.si
