Advent Wreaths

Join us for a creative and charitable Advent wreath workshop, where you can craft warmth with your own hands — for yourself and for others.

Each participant will make two Advent wreaths: one for themselves to brighten their home, and another for charity, which will be received by Karitas in your name and distributed to people in need.

The wreaths will be made from natural materials — greenery, fruits, wire, and bases — and equipped with safe candles that have a safety lock and do not burn down completely.

On the same day, from 11:00 to 13:00, there will also be a charity workshop where we will create wreaths exclusively for charitable purposes. All wreaths will be collected and distributed by Karitas.

About the mentor:

The workshop will be led by Dr. Sabina Šegula, Masterflorist and director of Floweracademy.SI.

She has over 30 years of experience in teaching floristry and extensive international experience leading and participating in numerous projects.

Participants should gather 15 minutes before the scheduled session in the entrance lobby of Center Rog. Please store your personal belongings in the lockers indicated by the mentor. Do not be late, as this disrupts the workflow. In case of late arrival, access to the workshop cannot be guaranteed.

The program is conducted in Slovenian unless stated otherwise.

In case of cancellation, we will notify you at least two days before the program starts. If you are unable to attend, the fee is non-refundable and the date cannot be changed. You may transfer your registration to another person — please inform us at least 24 hours before the workshop at: zeleni@center-rog.si
