3D Product Visualization with Matej Štefanec

Using the 3D software Cinema 4D and Corona, we will create a product 3D visualization. We will go through the entire creation process, from importing 3D models to preparing them, texturing, lighting, and final rendering.

We will start with the basics of studio lighting in 3D and render our product against a white or black background. We will also try to place the product in a 3D environment.

Participants are strongly encouraged to install the trial version of Cinema 4D (www.maxon.net) and the Corona rendering plugin (https://www.chaos.com/corona/download) before arriving.

This workshop is intended for design and architecture students, designers, architects, and anyone else with some minimal knowledge of 3D software.

The workshop will be led by Matej Štefanec, an architect and designer, and the founder of VISARD.si, who has over 15 years of experience in creating 3D visualizations.

Participants are asked to gather 15 minutes before the scheduled time in the entrance hall of the Rog Center. Please store your personal belongings in the lockers that the instructor will show you. Please do not be late for the program, as this disrupts the workflow. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee entry into the lab in case of delays.

The program is conducted in Slovenian unless otherwise specified.

In case of cancellation, we will notify you two days before the planned start. If you are unable to attend the program, fees are non-refundable, and it is not possible to change the date. You can transfer your participation to another person; please inform us at least 24 hours before the start of the program at the email address: fablab@center-rog.si.
