3D-Designed Silver Ring Workshop
25. 7. 2024
Why not design and 3D print a stunning silver ring tailored to your taste? 3D printing jewelry is no longer science fiction but the latest technology that offers limitless possibilities for designing jewelry with exceptional precision.
In this mini-course, we will work across two labs—FabLab and the Jewelry Lab—to bring your ring design to life. First, in the FabLab, we will use ONSHAPE software to design the model of your ring and print it using a 3D printer. The instructors will handle the silver casting for the prepared models and will provide the cast rings for the second session, where we will grind, polish, and finalize them to achieve the perfect finish. The end result will be a beautiful ring made just for you.
Everyone is welcome who wants to learn digital jewelry design and is interested in exploring the combination of manual crafting and new technologies. For the first session, please bring your own laptop for designing in the FabLab. The silver casting will be done outside of Center Rog through the instructors, so for the second session, please bring additional cash to cover the costs of casting and materials (silver).
