Preparations for Neighbours’ Day 2026 are starting
We are already looking forward to Saturday, 6 June 2026, when we will once again celebrate Neighbours’ Day at Center Rog — a festival of neighbourhood, creativity, and community. To make this year’s gathering in the Park of the Erased even more inclusive and rich, we are continuing with preparatory workshops, where we will co-create elements and content that will come to life during the event.
In May and early June, join us for preparatory workshops in the various labs at Center Rog. Regardless of prior experience, we will explore materials through hands-on work, develop practical skills, and co-create the programme for Neighbours’ Day together.
Neighbours of all generations are warmly welcome, as well as anyone who feels connected to Center Rog.
Flower Pot from a Glass Bottle (Glass Lab):
From recycled glass bottles, we will create unique glass pots that will become part of the plant exchange at Neighbours’ Day.

Metal Pendants (Jewellery Lab):
We will make metal pendants from copper and brass, which will be used in creative workshops at this year’s Neighbours’ Day.

Brewing Kombucha (Green Lab):
On a warm June Saturday, a refreshing kombucha will be the perfect addition to Neighbours’ Day — and this year we will brew it together. In the Green Lab, we will learn how to make this fermented drink from sweetened tea, fermented by a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast.

Chess (FabLab):
We will design and build a large modular chess set, which will be installed in the Park of the Erased as part of Neighbours’ Day.

Not feeling inspired by any of the above? You can also propose your own activity! Apply via the form, select a category, and describe what you would like to offer to your neighbours — we will include it in the programme. Please keep in mind that you must bring your own materials, that all activities are free of charge, and that they follow a drop-in format (no registration required; anyone passing by can join). Send your proposals by Friday, 8 May. Selected applicants will be notified on Wednesday, 13 May.
