RogLab is a creative hub operating within the Museum and Galleries of the City of Ljubljana since 2012. As the first public makerspace in Slovenia, we provide creators of all ages access to production tools and encourage innovative use of manufacturing technologies. In addition to organizing training sessions for the use of machinery, various workshops, and courses for children and adults, we support the development of products that address the challenges of modern society. Through a network of partner institutions and cross-sectoral collaboration, we expand and develop our program. In 2018, we received the prestigious Eurocities Innovation Award for our innovative efforts.

Job Responsibilities
A) Organizing Program Activities:
- Content coordination and implementation of prepared programs
- Financial administration and expenditure control
- Preparation of semi-annual content and financial reports
- Organization of meetings
- Supervision of work processes
- Collaboration in the development of the annual program
- Collaboration in the development and implementation of new projects
B) Communication:
- Preparation of various texts and materials and collaboration with translators
- Website and social media management
- Media relations in collaboration with the communication department of the Museum and Galleries of the City of Ljubljana
- Collaboration in the creation of promotional materials and monitoring of implementation
- Communication with users, partners, and the general public
- Preparation of presentations
- Representation of RogLab at external events
Mandatory Requirements for Applicants:
- 3 years of relevant work experience (organization, production, communication, administration)
- Good knowledge of architecture, design, and art
- Excellent command of Slovenian and English
- University degree
- Regulated status (self-employed in culture, institute, etc.)
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Knowledge of 3D manufacturing technologies
- Familiarity with institutions and organizations in the fields of education, technology, and science
- Involvement in local and international professional networks
- Experience in project development from conception to implementation
Employment Terms:
- Fixed-term contract for one year with the possibility of extension
- Full-time employment contract with paid leave and sick leave
- Operational responsibility to the head of RogLab and formal responsibility to the director of the Museum and Galleries of the City of Ljubljana
Working Conditions:
- Work is typically carried out during mornings and afternoons at the Museum and Galleries of the City of Ljubljana - Cultural Center Tobačna 001 and RogLab. Occasionally, work may occur during less favorable hours in the evenings or on Saturdays. Work may be unevenly distributed but rarely.
