Testing of playroom materials

Mentors in the workshops collect these materials, and together with the Public Institution Mala ulica, they have designed a Materials Playroom intended for unstructured play using various still usable pieces.

In April, we are preparing a trial run for kindergarten groups, and we also want to test the playroom with a group of children aged 2 to 5 years, accompanied by one parent or guardian.

Educational staff from Mala ulica will observe how children independently develop play, what attracts them, and how the play evolves with repeated encounters with the materials. Before visiting the playroom, we will provide parents or guardians with additional information about the program and, after the last visit, an evaluation questionnaire that will help us in improving and developing the program. The goal of the project is to gather observations on the development of unstructured play for a professional article being prepared by the educational staff of Mala ulica, as well as to include the Materials Playroom in the programs of Center Rog.

The program is currently in the testing phase, so it is free of charge. It will be held three times:

Thursday, April 3rd from 16:30 tp 18:00

Thursday, April 10th, from 16:30 to 18:00

Thursday, April 17th, from 16:30 to 18:00
