Become a Volunteer at Center Rog

We would appreciate your help with preparing Neighbor Day, which takes place every year on the first Saturday in June, but you can also join the team that manages the Rog Design Days in November. Additional hands are needed for organizing programs such as Jewelry Week (March and April) and Materials Week (April), and occasionally in the Ceramics Lab and Fablab, as well as with activities in the Community Kitchen, which runs year-round.

• What will volunteer work include?

Helping with event organization and coordination, assisting with setup and takedown, supporting the technical team, and other tasks that ensure Center Rog programs run smoothly. Volunteer work also involves hands-on tasks in our labs, such as laying clay tiles on walls, assisting with firing ceramic pieces, or helping Ceramics Lab mentors in other ways. In our Fablab, as a volunteer, you can support the wider community by participating in the development of new machines, acquiring new technologies, and gaining new skills for the lab.

• Who can join?

Individuals (students, retirees, etc.) as well as families are welcome. Participants must be over 15 years old.

• What do I get as a volunteer?

Volunteers will sign a one-year volunteer agreement from the date of joining the program. With regular participation, volunteers are entitled to transportation and meal allowances (for work over four hours per day) and a one-year free membership to Center Rog, which comes with various benefits.
