Opportunity for Youth: City Incubator

Mladi Rog has once again joined the City Incubator program, aimed at young people aged 18 to 29 who live or study in Ljubljana and want to turn their ideas into projects.

We are looking for brave, innovative, and sustainable ideas that:

• Bring people together, encourage networking, and exchange experiences and best practices;
• Make use of indoor and outdoor spaces at Mladi Zmaji, the Ljubljana Youth Centers Network, Center Rog, and the City of Ljubljana;
• Require knowledge to implement the ideas, mentors for guidance and asking the right questions, and startup financial support;
• Focus on developing and creating useful products from wood, metal, ceramics, glass, textiles, composites, new and recycled materials, as well as culinary projects.

The program offers knowledge, mentorship, financial support, membership and shared workspace at Mladi Rog in Center Rog and the new Ljubljana Youth Center. In addition, you will meet new people, connect with other idea-makers and gain promotion for your idea.

CITY INCUBATOR AT A GLANCE

• Criteria for acceptance:
  
  Positive impact, feasibility of the idea, applicants’ ambition, and contribution to the community.
  
• Idea fund: 30,000 €
• Number of ideas accepted into the program: Up to 20
• Application deadline: No later than October 9, 2025, at midnight. You will be notified of the selection by October 13, 2025.
• Workshop dates (mandatory attendance!): Attendance at all three workshops is required to receive mentorship and funding. Workshops will take place in Ljubljana on Monday, October 20, 2025, Thursday, October 23, 2025, Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
