Creativity vs. Greenwashing: The First Creatives for Climate Meeting in Slovenia

Slovenia now has its own local network within the global initiative Creatives for Climate, which connects creative thinkers with the mission of driving genuine sustainable change.
The network is freely open to all creatives who wish to direct their knowledge and skills towards ethical communication and climate action. It will operate regularly through meetings and events focused on practical projects and concrete solutions to sustainability challenges in the creative industry.
The first Creatives for Climate meeting in Slovenia will take place at Center Rog (Trubarjeva 72, 1000 Ljubljana, 3rd floor) on Tuesday, April 15, from 17:30 to 19:30 (+ socializing). The event is free, but due to limited space, REGISTRATION is required.
Time for action: What will be the focus?
In April, Earth Month, the Creatives for Climate network will address the pressing issue of greenwashing in advertising across European cities. At the Ljubljana meeting, the topics will be tackled in a very concrete way:
- Exploring examples of misleading sustainability claims,
- Gaining knowledge on how to recognize them,
- Discussing the responsibility of the creative industry in driving real change.
The event is an opportunity for all who feel they can contribute with their knowledge and experience towards an ethical and sustainable future. You are invited!
Creatives for Climate is the largest and most diverse network of individuals who have dedicated their creativity to promoting climate action and sustainability. Based in Amsterdam, it has grown into an organization with over 50,000 followers, 5,500 members in the Creative Climate Hub, and a rapidly expanding association of ethical agencies since its founding in 2019.
