SCM Minimax T124 Wood Lathe

The lathe is a standalone woodworking machine that allows transforming a square wooden element into a round shape.
This lathe enables three different turning methods, which differ in mounting and processing: spindle turning, bowl turning, and copying turning.

• Distance between centers: 1150 mm
• Center height: 210 mm
• Max. workpiece diameter: Ø 420 mm

Suitable materials:

The lathe is primarily intended for turning solid wood. In some cases, other materials with wood-like properties, such as plywood and plastics, can also be processed; in these cases, consult the lab team.

Usage time (including preparation and cleaning):

• station usage possible: 1–6 hours/day
• station usage possible: 1–6 hours/day
• reservation is possible at least 1 hour and no more than 7 days before the start of the time slot
• cancellation of the reservation is possible up to 2 hours before the time slot
• with timely cancellation, the same single-entry ticket can be used again
