Machine Workbench Workstation

The workstation includes a set of essential machines for processing solid wood. At this workstation, solid wood can be processed and prepared for the production of a final product.

Mitre saw Makita LS1019L:

Used for cutting wood materials to length. The tilt and rotation of the saw also allow angled cuts.

• Saw blade diameter: 260 mm
• Angle adjustment: 0°–60°
• Tilt adjustment: 0°–48°
• Maximum workpiece height: 91 mm
• Maximum workpiece width: 279 mm (0°), 197 mm (45°)

Band saw SCM Formula S740P:

Used for longitudinal cutting of workpieces freehand or with a guide fence, resawing boards, curved cutting, and cutting notches and tenons.

• Max. cutting height: 450 mm
• Max. cutting width: 720 mm
• Saw blade width: 10–40 mm
• Table dimensions: 710 × 1000 mm

Combined planer SCM FS410 Nova:

Performs two operations – surface planing and thicknessing. The surface planer is used to flatten uneven pieces. With the use of a guide fence, a right angle or any desired angle can also be achieved on the workpiece. The thickness planer processes one-sided flattened pieces to achieve parallel surfaces and the desired thickness.

Designed for surface sanding of larger formats.

Suitable materials:

All machines within the workstation can process all types of wood and wood composites – including panel materials such as plywood, particleboard, and fiberboard, as well as materials with wood-like properties.

Usage time (including preparation and cleaning):

• Duration of one time slot is 1 hour
• Station usage possible: 1–6 hours/day
• Reservation is possible at least 1 hour and no more than 7 days before the start of the time slot
• Cancellation of the reservation is possible up to 2 hours before the time slot
• With timely cancellation, the same single-entry ticket can be used again
