Textile Paper 2.0
In a world overwhelmed by waste, our Textile Paper 2.0 project aims to transform this pressing social challenge into an opportunity for creativity and sustainable development. Every year, modern society produces enormous quantities of discarded materials—yet it is precisely in this waste that untapped potential lies. Our mission is to transform locally sourced fibers and other waste materials into a versatile, eco-friendly, and biodegradable material that can be used to create everyday products—from bags to laptop and phone cases—designed according to the principles of the circular economy. By reusing byproducts, we preserve their value and give them a new life, benefiting both people and the planet. At the design studio in the Rog Center, we will focus on developing and optimizing sustainable manufacturing processes, including eco-friendly printing techniques, the development of bio-based adhesives, and the design and testing of prototypes.
