Matej Štefanac

Matej Štefanec is a product designer who creates furniture and other products for the home. In recent years, his work has focused primarily on developing lighting solutions for residential and workspaces. At Center Rog, he is developing the Belt Lamp, a light fixture featuring a pulley mechanism that allows the height of the light source to be easily adjusted—from the ceiling all the way down to the floor. As its position changes, so do the lighting effect and function of the lamp. Raised towards the ceiling, it creates soft, indirect light, while lowered closer to the user, it provides focused lighting for reading or working. This simple mechanism allows a single light fixture to adapt to different spaces, needs, and ways of use.
