Cym / Simone van Groenestijn

Cym / Simone van Groenestijn runs her own creative computing school for kids and also works as an informatics teacher at a secondary school in The Netherlands. In her workshops she teaches children essential digital skills in combination with developing their creativity. Children explore the many possibilities and challenges of the digital world, discover the creative opportunities and at the same time also develop a critical perspective on its potential. During her residency at Center Rog she will focus on developing small robotic cars for use in her future workshops. In August she will host a one-week summer school at the Fab Lab at Center Rog.
