Winter Holidays of Mala Ulica at Center Rog

During the winter holidays, in collaboration with Mala Ulica, we are organizing a holiday childcare program, where children will explore a different production lab at Center Rog each day. The program runs from Monday to Friday, February 24–28, from 8:00 to 16:00.

In the ceramics lab, we will create with clay. In the green lab, we will explore various biomaterials and cast them into animal-shaped molds. Since Carnival is just around the corner, we will make festive masks in the textile lab and FabLab. In the food lab, we will prepare breakfast every day and once cook a healthy lunch, including a dessert.

There will also be time for a guided tour of the exhibition by architect Boris Podrecca, a visit to Mestna knjižnica Ljubljana, board games, free play, and exciting explorations of Center Rog.

This program is suitable for children from 1st to 4th grade of primary school, especially those who enjoy hands-on creative activities. The group will consist of 12 children, supervised by mentors from Center Rog and two trained educators from Mala Ulica.

Daily schedule:

• 08:00–08:30 Arrival, introduction games, and free play
• 08:30–09:30 Breakfast preparation and breakfast (food lab)
• 09:30–12:30 Workshop in a different lab each day
• 12:30–13:30 Lunch
• 13:30–15:00 Creative activities, board games, library visit, and free play
• 15:30–16:00 Afternoon snack, pick-up of children
