Workshop for Children: Table Lamp

At the workshop, we will be crafting a simple table lamp. The first part of the workshop will take place in the wood lab, where we will prepare a wooden housing for the lamp. Children will have the opportunity to shape a piece of wood according to their preferences, getting acquainted with the use of a hand saw, rasp, and sandpaper. Later, they will drill a hole for the bulb and electrical cable in the shaped piece of wood. The second part of the workshop will be conducted in the electro lab, where we will learn to connect the bulb with a switch and package everything into the previously crafted housing.

The workshop is designed for children aged 8-15 who enjoy being creative and have an interest in woodworking and electronics. They will become familiar with various woodworking tools such as a hand saw, file, sandpaper, and a drill. Additionally, they will learn how to connect a bulb to a switch within the housing.
