Creative Workshop at FabLab (5th session)

Are you between 12 and 17 years old and have an idea you want to bring to life? Are you creative and excited about 3D printers, laser cutters, or electronic circuits? Do you want access to FabLab machines to develop your project but still need some guidance?

Join the mentoring program for young creators and innovators, running every Thursday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at FabLab starting this July. It’s designed for all young people who are already developing their own projects at home but are not yet fully ready to work independently during open lab hours and need advice or help to realize their ideas.

Meetings are on Thursdays, and you sign up by purchasing a package of 4 visits. We start with a free introductory session on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at 3:00 PM. If you don’t use all the visits in one package, you can attend sessions in the following packages as well, so no worries if you go on holiday between sessions — you won’t miss anything or lose your spot!

• First package: July 10, 17, 24, and August 7, 2025
• Second package: August 14, 21, 28, and September 4, 2025
• Third package: September 11, 18, 25, and October 2, 2025
• Fourth package: 10. 10., 17. 10., 24. 10. in 7. 11. 2025
• Fifth package: 21. 11., 28. 11., 5. 12., in 12. 12. 2025
• If there’s enough interest, the program will continue.

Bring your idea, the materials you need for your project, curiosity, and a creative spirit — we will discover the rest together.

Materials are not included in the program fee. You can bring materials needed for your project (such as filament for 3D printing, plywood or MDF boards) or purchase them at the Made in Rog store.

Participants should gather 15 minutes before the scheduled start time in the entrance hall of Center Rog. Please store your personal belongings in the lockers, which the mentor will show you. Please be on time, as late arrivals disrupt the workflow. In the case of a delay, entry to the lab cannot be guaranteed.

The program will be conducted in Slovenian unless stated otherwise.

In case of cancellation, you will be notified two days before the scheduled start.

If you are unable to attend the program, the registration fee is non-refundable, and it is not possible to change the date. You can transfer your participation to another person, but please notify us at least 24 hours before the program begins at the email address: fablab@center-rog.si
