Training: Milling Machine (Metal)

The training on the Prvomajska ALG 200 milling machine is designed for participants with basic experience in metalworking. You will learn about the different cutting tools and how they can be clamped on the machine. The program includes:

• Safe machine operation: Overview of safety regulations and proper use of protective equipment.
• Basics of cutting: Understanding fundamental milling principles, tool selection, and machine setup.
• Practical test: Hands-on execution of simple milling operations under expert supervision.

The training lasts approximately 2–3 hours. In addition to the theoretical knowledge of metal cutting, you will also gain practical knowledge that you will be able to use immediately in your work.

Training is suitable for participants aged 14 or older.

Participants should gather 15 minutes before the scheduled start time in the entrance hall of Center Rog. Please store your personal belongings in the lockers, which the mentor will show you. Please be on time, as late arrivals disrupt the workflow. In the case of a delay, entry to the lab cannot be guaranteed.

The program will be conducted in Slovenian unless otherwise stated.

In case of cancellation, you will be notified two days before the scheduled start.

If you are unable to attend the program, the registration fee is non-refundable, and it is not possible to change the date. You can transfer your participation to another person, but please notify us at least 24 hours before the program begins at the email address: kovina@center-rog.si
